Let's be real: that giant block of text about "privacy" and "cookies" they shove in your face? Nobody reads that crap. It's designed to be ignored. A legal shield so they can vacuum up every last bit of your data and sell it to the highest bidder. "Personalized advertising and content"? Translation: "We're gonna stalk you across the internet until you buy something, anything."

And these "partners"? 758 of them can "store and/or access information on a device." 907 can use your data for "personalized advertising and content." It's a goddamn feeding frenzy.

I remember back in '21, when everyone was all up in arms about Facebook selling data. Now? We're practically begging these crypto platforms to do it. We click "I agree" without a second thought, just so we can chase those fleeting green candles.

Are we really this stupid? Or have we just become numb to the constant surveillance?

The Illusion of Control: "Choices" That Aren't

They give you "choices," of course. Little toggles and buttons that supposedly let you control your privacy. "Object to Legitimate Interests"? What the hell does that even mean? It's like they're deliberately trying to confuse us with jargon.

And even if you do manage to navigate the labyrinthine settings and opt out of everything, do you really think it makes a difference? Nah. Your data is already out there. It's been scraped, sold, and repackaged a million times over. You're just tilting at windmills.

Speaking of windmills, my damn internet provider just raised my rates again. I swear, these companies are all in cahoots... But I digress.

Then there's the "Strictly Necessary Cookies." Always Active. Because, you know, they need to track you to make the website work. Give me a break. It's all about control. They want to know everything you do, everything you buy, everything you think. And we're just letting them get away with it.

So, yeah, Bitcoin's near $100k. Big deal. We've seen this movie before. It goes up, it goes down, and a whole lot of people get rekt in the process.

This time, it feels different, though. More… engineered. More… sinister. Maybe it's just the endless stream of privacy violations that's got me on edge. Or maybe it's the feeling that we're all being played like puppets on a string.
